Coconut Oil

Has anyone ever tried coconut oil for losing weight and general good health? Any tips or experiences would be much appreciated.

Not sure about that. I expect it is though. You can make a healthy fried bread with it :)!

Is it not just the same as getting enough olive oil in your diet though Rich?

What meals do you cook with it? I'm always looking to improvise my cooking skills and what does taste nice it putting drizzled coconut in my porridge. Sweetens it in a really pleasant way.

Craving chocolate? First I thought that it would make your body want more fat, but now I see the logic in it. Basically it makes your body a more efficient machine.

Well, I bet it's better than taking these artificial fat products that can do more harm than good. I have no need to try it as I don't declare myself fat :-)! But you never know what will happen in the future. Which country are you in? People use them here in the UK!

If you take up to 5 tablespoons per day, it is meant to help you strip fat. Not sure if anyone has tried it on here though?

I've never heard of that one, but does it actively make you lose weight or just doesn't contain all of the calories?

Yes from the research i have done it's great for food, as an added flavor but also to help regulate the thyroid glands and to boost energy levels.
